Posting to TikTok
Connect TikTok, choose privacy, interactions and content disclosure, and follow your post.
- Connect. Social Channels → Connect → TikTok. You sign in on TikTok and approve ITPS Social. You can disconnect at any time (Social Channels, or TikTok → Settings → Security → Manage app permissions).
- Write and preview. In Create post, pick your TikTok account, write the caption (it becomes the TikTok title — you can edit everything before posting) and add one video or 2–35 photos. The preview on the right shows exactly what will be sent. ITPS Social never adds watermarks or promotional text.
- Check the account. The Post to TikTok panel loads your current TikTok settings every time and shows Posting to <your TikTok nickname>. If TikTok says the account can't post more right now, publishing is stopped and you're asked to try later. Videos longer than your account allows are flagged.
- Choose who can see it. Pick Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me — only the options TikTok allows for your account are listed, and nothing is pre-selected.
- Allow users to Comment, Duet or Stitch — all start off; tick the ones you want. Options you turned off in the TikTok app are greyed out. Photo posts only offer Comment.
- Disclose post content (off by default). Turn it on if the post promotes goods or services in exchange for something of value, then tick Your brand (labeled "Promotional content") and/or Branded content (labeled "Paid partnership"). At least one must be ticked to publish. Branded content can't be private ("Only me").
- Agree and publish. Above the Publish button: By posting, you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation (plus the Branded Content Policy when Branded content is ticked). Upload starts only when you click Publish.
- Follow the status. TikTok needs a few minutes to process a post before it appears on your profile. ITPS Social checks TikTok's publishing status and moves the post to Published (with a link) or Failed (with TikTok's reason).
