Bluesky, Nextdoor and Snapchat
How to connect the newest networks and what each one supports.
Bluesky
- In Bluesky open Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and create one called ITPS Social.
- In ITPS Social: Social Channels → Connect Bluesky → enter your handle (for example yourbusiness.bsky.social) and the app password.
- Posts up to 300 characters; links, #hashtags and @mentions become clickable.
- Up to 4 photos (large photos are compressed to Bluesky's 1 MB limit) or one video up to 3 minutes. A link with no media shows as a link card.
- Replies show up in the Inbox and you can answer them. Bluesky doesn't report views; likes, replies and reposts are tracked.
- Never use your main Bluesky password. Revoking the app password in Bluesky disconnects the channel.
Nextdoor
- Connect with the Nextdoor account that owns your Business Page, then pick the page. Posts reach neighbors near your business.
- Up to 10 photos or videos per post; a link shows as a preview. Nextdoor reports views and link clicks for 14 days.
- Available once Nextdoor approves ITPS Social for its Publish API (closed beta).
Snapchat
- Connect with the Snapchat account that manages your business Public Profile.
- Spotlight: one vertical MP4, 6–60 seconds, at least 540×960. Your text (up to 160 characters, hashtags allowed) becomes the description. Snap reviews Spotlights before they go live.
- Story: a vertical video (5–60 s) or photo, visible for 24 hours, no caption. Choose Spotlight or Story under Snapchat options in the composer.
- Available once Snap allowlists ITPS Social for the Public Profile API.
