Each workspace has a timezone (Settings → Workspace). Every time you pick in the composer, queue and calendar is interpreted in that timezone, then stored in UTC. Posts publish at the right wall-clock moment even across daylight-saving changes.

Your profile timezone (Settings → Profile) only affects how times are displayed to you in lists and emails.
